Our Mission

Envisioning opportunities for ministry, the Presbytery of Ohio Valley affirms its mission is to serve congregations as they fulfill their call by nurturing and challenging them to present Christ to others, to engage in Spirit-filled worship, and to witness actively as part of God's realm.

 

Our Priorities

Growing out of its mission, the presbytery establishes five priorities:

 

1. To develop and revitalize congregations;

 

2. To promote and strengthen effective congregational leadership;

 

3. To promote a clear, concise flow of communication for enhancing communal life;

 

4. To empower congregations to discover, affirm, nurture and mobilize members' gifts for ministry;

 

5. To faithfully fulfill our connectional responsibilities.
